Leah graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Chemistry. After graduation, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique, where she was a high school science teacher. She is interested in the epidemiologic and immunologic determinants of HIV acquisition in adolescent girls and young women. In her free time, you can find her playing volleyball or cooking for friends.
