Postdoctoral Fellow - csu5@mgh.harvard.edu

Clover joined the Kwon Lab as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in September 2020. She completed her doctoral dissertation in biophysics and materials engineering at Boston University, where she studied the motility and chemotaxis of Helicobacter pylori and the microrheology of gastric mucin solution using microfluidics and microscopy. Her main focus in the Kwon Lab will be to investigate the protective role of the mucus barrier on the surface of epithelium in the gut and female genital tract. She is especially motivated to explore bacteria-mucus interactions utilizing various organoid models and light microscopy. Before finding her place in the field of biophysics, Clover studied condensed matter/semiconductor physics and neuroscience at BU. When Clover is not hard at work, she can be found hyperactive-ly running outside or hiking in all types of weather, baking elegant desserts for friends and family, or cozying up on the couch reading.
